Celebrating the 51st Anniversary of the Liberation of Hue (March 26, 1975 – March 26, 2026)
March returns, bringing with it a deep sense of pride and emotion for the people of Hue as we reflect on the historic day our beloved city was fully liberated. Fifty one years have passed, and today Hue has taken on a new identity peaceful and poetic, yet vibrant and full of aspiration.
Hue today is no longer the city marked by the scars of war, but one of serenity, elegance, and renewed vitality. The moss-covered roofs of the Imperial Citadel, graceful bridges spanning the Perfume River, and the flowing silhouettes of purple áo dài all come together to create a Hue that is both timeless and modern. The city continues to transform and grow stronger each day, while preserving its distinctive character quiet, profound, and rich in cultural identity.
On this special occasion, iVietnam Travel would like to express our deepest gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of our homeland. At the same time, we look forward to continuing this legacy together building Hue into a thriving city worthy of its status as a leading heritage, cultural, and tourism destination.
The 51st anniversary of Hue’s Liberation is not only a time to reflect on the past, but also a reminder of our responsibility in the present and future: to preserve heritage, protect culture, foster socio-economic development, and above all, uphold the spirit of Hue gentle yet resilient, quiet yet enduring.
Proud of Hue – Moving Forward with Confidence
